Dr Jennifer Byrne

Dr Jennifer Byrne became a director on 7 April 2022. Dr Byrne enjoyed a successful 25-year career at Lockheed Martin from 1993 to 2018. In her final role with Lockheed Martin as VP, Space and Missile Systems, she managed a team of 8,000 people. She had responsibility for leading the design, development, operation and sustainment of Civil Space, Military Space, Commercial Space, Strategic Missile Defence and Special Programs platforms. Dr Jennifer Byrne moved to London in 2018 to take up her current role as COO of G-Research, which is a quantitative research and technology business. She has a B.S. in Mathematics and Biochemistry from the University of Dallas, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Temple University and holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from George Washington University. Dr Byrne is a member of the Nomination Committee of SES.
