Simon Maher

Simon was appointed Global Head of Maritime of SES in April 2024 where he oversees SES’s cruise business and is responsible for delivering game-changing guest connectivity and product innovation to major cruise operators.

Having joined SES in 2016, Simon has held various managements roles in the Maritime, Energy and Enterprise commercial organisations. In his most recent role as Senior Vice President for Global Cruise Maritime Services, he was responsible for growing the company’s cruise business.

Simon has more than 20 years of experience as a commercial strategist and sales leader in the Telecommunications and Enterprise sectors. Prior to SES, he worked at O3b Networks and Alcatel-Lucent.

Simon is a UK national, and currently lives in the Netherlands.
