Global satellite provider’s expansion into India is set to enhance and scale its global operations
SES, the global satellite-based content and connectivity solutions provider, today announced the inauguration of its new office in Chennai, India. This milestone marks SES's commitment to expand its global footprint and rapidly scale its capabilities to better serve its diverse range of customers across the media, aviation, cruise, enterprise, and telecommunications sectors.
The inauguration event of SES's new Chennai office in the 40-acre DLF tech campus in Cyber City took place on 8 April and was graced by the presence of SES’s CEO and key Indian government officials.
For over two decades, through the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and other local partners, SES has been delivering satellite TV and data connectivity services including e-banking, telemedicine, e-governance across the country. SES’s Chennai office reflects India's importance as a key hub in the space economy reflecting the vision of the Honorable Prime Minister and a source for harnessing critical talent in this strategic sector.
