SES SATELLITE TO ENABLE ARQIVA TO BRING PREMIUM CONTENT TO LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARRIBEAN

LUXEMBOURG, 13 September 2016 -- SES S.A. (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG) announced today that Arqiva, one of the leading communications infrastructure and media services company, has contracted a C-Band transponder on SES’s NSS-806 satellite for the distribution of premium sports content across Latin America and the Caribbean.

The capacity will be used primarily for distributing English premium sports content in HD to broadcast networks throughout the region.

NSS-806 at 47.5 degrees West is mainly used for Latin American cable broadcasting in C-Band.

The satellite will be replaced by SES-14 in 2017, which will bring augmented capacity to serve growing video neighborhoods in the Americas.
