GovSatCom

Guaranteed Connectivity for Secure Governmental Applications

Securing Critical Service Communications

We contribute to the European Governmental Satellite Communications (GOVSATCOM) programme. The initiative ensures secure communications for public and civilian actors, such as police, border guards, and firefighters, as well as civilian and military crisis forces.

Connecting the EU

Supporting secure institutional communications between EU delegations, ECHO field offices, EU High and Special Representatives, and internal and intra-EU government communications.

REACH – On-demand Satellite Communications for Every Mission

SES GOVSATCOM REACH serves the needs of governmental and institutional users that require a performance equivalent to dedicated SCPC (Single Channel Per Carrier) links and the flexibility of platform-based services.

Performance

Constant and symmetrical bitrates for demanding applications, such as high data rate real-time streaming from fixed or mobile platforms.

Flexibility

Powered by our GEO and MEO high-throughput satellites, our uncontended end-to-end network ensures the fast and reliable performance of cloud apps for response coordination.

Security

Encryption support and optional features for interference or jamming mitigation.

Disaster response in hours

Disaster Response in Hours

The quicker disaster responders can communicate, the faster they can save lives.

SES's emergency.lu programme is a mobile, satellite-based telecommunications platform that can be deployed to the affected area within hours of a natural or man-made catastrophe.

In partnership with the Luxembourg Government, emergency.lu is a collaboration with a consortium of Luxembourg companies and organisations. It is the de facto UN standard for disaster response communication solutions.
