Strengthening Critical Infrastructure for Uzbek Government Communications

SES is working with Europeer Exchange GmbH, a Germany-based connectivity provider, to deliver satellite connectivity for government communications in Uzbekistan. Launched in February 2026, the service leverages SES’s Fuchsstadt teleport (FUS) in Germany to provide a secure and reliable layer of redundancy, supporting uninterrupted operations for critical networks.

Strengthening resilience through redundancy

For government networks, even brief service disruptions can have significant operational and constituent impacts. Traditional terrestrial infrastructure alone may not always guarantee the level of availability required, particularly when fiber-network reliability is outside government control and in the case of unforeseen events.

By integrating SES’s satellite-enabled connectivity, Europeer is providing a diverse, non-terrestrial resiliency solution, ensuring continuity when primary networks are unavailable. This hybrid approach combines terrestrial and space technologies, strengthening overall network reliability and performance.
