Space Situational Awareness

As Earth’s orbits become increasingly congested, Space Situational Awareness (SSA) is essential to ensuring the long-term safety, reliability, and sustainability of space operations. With thousands of active satellites, and an ever-growing population of debris, operators need clear and timely insights into what’s happening in space - much like Air Traffic Control enables safe aviation on Earth.

Fundamentally, SSA is about knowing where objects are in orbit, how they’re moving, and identifying potential risks before mission-threatening events emerge.

SES leverages its existing in-orbit assets, global infrastructure, and advanced analytics to support a more transparent and coordinated space environment.
