AMC-6's mission

AMC-6 provides expansion Ku-band capacity over Latin America, to address the regional growth in DTH and broadband services, and to support ambitious government programmes for digital inclusion. The satellite is capable of serving a range of applications, including VSAT networks, rural telecommunications, pay-TV, mobile broadband, GSM backhaul, maritime and e-learning.
