SES-9's mission
SES-9 is located at the 108.2°E orbital position, where it is co-located with SES-7 and replaces NSS-11. It provides incremental capacity to the well-established slot over Asia, expanding our capability to provide DTH broadcasting and other communications services to the Asia-Pacific region, including maritime communications that link vessels in the Indian Ocean to key regional teleports.
