Regional satellite operators

SES SIRIUS SES owns 90% of SES SIRIUS AB. SES SIRIUS operates the SIRIUS satellites, which provide transmission capacity for the distribution of TV and radio channels and for various telecommunications and broadband services such as data transmission, Internet and multimedia services. Solaris Mobile Solaris Mobile is a joint venture between SES ASTRA and Eutelsat Communications formed in early 2008. Solaris Mobile is Europe’s first satellite-based service for providing video, radio, data and two-way communications to mobile devices - such as phones, PDAs and portable media players - as well as a variety of interactive services for commercial and public applications. Ciel105 Ciel is a Candian satellite service provider that strives to bring the highest quality digital television and broadband services to homes and businesses throughout North America, using BSS Ku-band frequencies at the orbital location of 129°W. Satellite service provision companies

APS APS, ASTRA Platform Services, operates one of the most modern and the only HDTV-capable broadcasting centre in Europe.
