Orange TV wanted to offer television to all their Internet subscribers throughout France and SES was uniquely positioned to help.

Orange needed satellite delivery with 100% coverage of the French territory to reach their subscribers with limited ADSL speeds. The overwhelming majority of French satellite TV homes have their dishes aimed at our satellites, which helped Orange choose to broadcast their exclusive content via SES.

When a customer signs up for telephony and ADSL from Orange, they also receive a package of free TV channels. Orange then also offers subscriptions to Canal+ and CanalSat via our satellites so its subscribers can receive telephony, ADSL, free TV channels, Canal+ and CanalSat, as well gaining exclusive access to its own pay-TV offerings.

The partnership with Orange TV allows Orange subscribers to receive TV channels via satellite for no additional charge, even if they are in a slow or no-ADSL area.
