With 8 satellites covering the Middle East and the new Astra 2E satellite which is due to launch in Q2 2013, SES is eagerly gearing up for the Middle East’s largest digital media and satellite exposition, CABSAT 2013.

Held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 12 – 14 March, this highly anticipated event will showcase some of the most innovative and exciting advancements set to debut in the Middle East.

At the SES stand, the groundbreaking Ultra HD and SAT>IP systems will be presented for the first time in the Middle East. Ultra HD has been described as the next generation system for television broadcasting, and provides new growth opportunities for our customers. SAT>IP is a new IP-based architecture for receiving and distributing satellite signals, which means that satellite programmes can be received on practically all modern IP capable devices, allowing simultaneous reception on multiple screens. In addition, you will also be able to view the SES fleet and the new ASTRA 2E satellite footprints via the interactive Google Earth tool and our new iPad app.

These innovations in conjunction with our growing assets, and initiatives in the telecom and mobility sectors make SES well-positioned to help extend your reach and fuel your growth in the Middle East and beyond.

Our local support team, fronted by Mr Hussein Oteifa, Senior Regional Director for the Middle East, and Mr Deepak Mathur, SVP Commercial Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Data and Mobility Services, will be available on site to meet with customers and discuss how we can help enable your business growth in the Middle East and beyond.
